While it's wonderful news that NEA funding was given a slight bump, negotiations continue on appropriation measures for fiscal year 2018, which begins October 1, 2017.

We cannot stress this enough: funding for the NEA and NEH for FY18 and beyond is still very much in question. Arts advocates must continue our bipartisan efforts to secure NEA funding for FY18.
