CLEVELAND - Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) is excited to release an in-depth analysis on the financial, human capital and infrastructure health of 93 arts and culture nonprofits in Cuyahoga County. Culture Pulse leverages information from the Ohio Cultural Data Project (OCDP) to examine trends over 2009-11 and to discuss the future implications for arts and culture organizations in Cuyahoga County.

CLEVELAND - On January 25, 2013 the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) will present the first of six Arts and Culture Roundtables for 2013. CPAC promises to host a number of civic leaders designed to help the arts and culture sector understand issues facing our community and how to become more engaged in shaping our region’s landscape.

Creative Workforce Fellowship Panel Meeting October 15 & 16

CLEVELAND — The Public Panel review for the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture’s (CPAC) 2013 Creative Workforce Fellowship Program will take place Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Idea Center. The review will be held in the Miller Classroom, lower level and will begin October 15 at 10:00 a.m. and continue through 5:30 p.m. The panel will resume on Tuesday, October 16 at 9:00 a.m. and continue through 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

CPAC Awards more than $400,000 to Cuyahoga County Artists

CLEVELAND – Twenty Cuyahoga County artists will receive $20,000 awards for their outstanding work and innovation in the field through the Creative Workforce Fellowship, a program of the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC). Two more artists will receive a $2,500 Seth Rosenberg Prize. CPAC’s Board of Trustees ratified the awards Friday. They based the decision on the recommendation of two five-person panels of art experts from 10 cities in 8 states outside of Ohio. The Creative Workforce Fellowship program is made possible by the generous support of Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.

Artists begin projects to strengthen residents and their neighborhood

CLEVELAND — Seven artists received grants for community projects in Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts and Entertainment District. A component of the Artists in Residence program, a total of $45,000 in grants this cycle will address three community priorities through arts activities between November 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013. These priorities were identified by the program’s initial neighborhood survey “Picturing Collinwood”: celebrating residents, visibility and awareness of community assets and youth.

Members of the arts and culture community, as well as members of the public and media, are invited and welcome to attend.

CLEVELAND — Professional craft, design, media and visual artists who make their home in Cuyahoga County have an opportunity to dream bigger with the 2013 cycle of the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC)’s Creative Workforce Fellowship program. Individuals who meet eligibility requirements can compete for one of up to 22 awards.

Creative Compass

Artists are infusing their creativity into our community with each performance, public work or novel that they produce. As of January 2012, Cuyahoga County, OH is home to 3,964 arts-related businesses that employ 16,914 people. The music industry in Cuyahoga County alone accounted for 6,210 total jobs created in Cuyahoga County in 2010 and generated an output of $839.8 million. To foster growth of this incredible network and chain of production, the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) developed Creative Compass.
