Jimmy Kuehnle: Wiggle, Giggle, Jiggle

Visual artist and Creative Workforce Fellow, Jimmy Kuehnle's sculptures created from coated polyester and coated nylon fabric, will take over the Akron Art Museum, inviting visitors to engage with them. Wiggle, Giggle, Jiggle will engulf the gallery, creating a maze that can be explored and even touched.

Educator Community Night: 2017 Tour Preview

RSVP REQUIRED. Open to all educators or other community leaders (librarians, PTA members, community organizers) with an interest in knowing more about the Talespinner Children's Theatre Educational Outreach Tour, "The Brementown Musicians."

This past year, Talespinner Children's Theatre's fifth season, has meant growing the scope of touring production, expanding and educational outreach programming, and forging community partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland, The Centers for Families & Children, and The Children’s Museum of Cleveland.

Moving into 2017, TCT looks forward with great anticipation to adding to the number of schools, libraries, and family groups that will be able to share our arts education programs with, in so many ways.

Advanced Adult Modern Dance Classes

Classes will focus on exploring and strengthening the body’s natural pathways and sequences through various post-modern and modern techniques. Class will contain elements of improvisation, core-distal relationship, sequencing, spiraling, release, and dynamic contrast. Dancers will be encouraged to focus on individual goals and pathways with support and direction from the instructor. Prior dance experience is required.

Beginning Thursday, February 16 at 7 p.m. (and running for a total of nine weekly classes), nationally-known financial coach Dave Ramsey will lead participants through important Baby Steps via video lessons. This class will help participants create an emergency fund, start budgeting and dump their debt.
